Welcome to my new blog !!!

Let me introduce myself ...

My name is Lorena, you can call me Lory too !!!

I really love to make new friends around the world and I decided 

to create this blog to be in touch with more and more friends.

Letters is one of my passions, I really like to be surprised with a letter 

in my mail box, so, you're invited to surprise me !!!

I think I'm a nice person, open mind, unprejudiced, calm, curious, 

positive... well ...sometimes shy, anxious... I think there are more 

qualities than bad ones.
  

I was born in April 10, in Feira de Santana (Bahia/Brasil). I live with my parents and our pet Lilica (a cute little dog), I'm single, I don't have brothers or sisters. I'm already graduated in History & Law, I'm a teacher. I do Theater, music and idioms classes. My mother tongue is Portuguese, I can understand English and Spanish too, and I'm trying to learn Italian, French, Turkish and German (if you want, we can help each other with idioms).

 In my spare time I like to see movies, soap operas, listen to music, dance, go to the movies, theatre, beach, travel, write letters and swap souvenirs from others countries. My interests include history, trips, geography, law, psychology, literature, religion, nature, pictures.

I like to collect / swap:

post cards, stamps, coins, magnets, accessories, little bags, keyrigs

stationaries, dvds, cds, touristics souvenirs and more

Penpals ... I started penpalling when I was 14 years old, I found a brazilian magazine (Horóscopo) with adds to find friends and I wrote to a girl, I put my add too and I received tons of letters, it's really great !!! And after I joined to an English course I also started writing to people in other countries, my first foreign friend was a boy from India named Fazal, we swapped some letters and even talked on phone (I was just learning the idiom and was so fun), so I joined in sites to penpals, orkut, facebook and for years I wrote many and many letters... for a while I had to take a break (studies, job, I moved...) and I lost touch with some pals... now I decided to come back and find more new and old friends.

Trips...I don't travel as much as I'd like but I've ever been in beautiful places that I loved... in Brasil (Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Lençóis, Cachoeira, Candeias, São Fêlix, Santo Amaro, São Gonçalo), Europe: Portugal (Lisboa, Cascais, Estoril, Sintra, Fátima, Marvão), Spain (Madrid, Toledo, Zaragozza, Barcelona), Monaco, France (Nice, Cannes, Eze), Italy (Venezia, Florence, Roma, Vaticano) ... hope to travel again as soon as possible !!!
